Oh wow. I totally forgot to tell you all that I’m doing things.
For instance, I’m writing this short post from the Circlet Press Writers’ Retreat (AKA “porncamp”). You remember Circlet, right? Purveyors of geeky, science-fiction/fantasy erotica?
So far, it’s been super-awesome to meet other erotica authors and hear their works. (And eat amazing food.) Starting tomorrow, we’re going hardcore and doing a number of workshops. I’m giving one on using Kickstarter, one of the few scheduled topics that isn’t about writing craft. (Everyone here is such an amazing writer already that I want to learn from them, not give advice.)
Maybe this’ll be the impetus I need to write more erotica this year, as opposed to the less-sexy stuff I’ve been doing other places.
